Templates

A Template is a venue's setup, saved on this iPhone or iPad. Starting a Show from it readies the room in one tap. Templates are part of Pro and the 14-day Trial.

What a Template saves

• Channel names you typed for each USB Channel.
• The mixer, by its network name, so the Template finds it again even when its address changes.
• The Show name. The Template's name is also the Show's: a Template called "Sunday Service" starts a Show named with the date and "Sunday Service".
• Pre-roll length.
• Venue, when the Template was saved from a past Show.

A Template doesn't save the Drive folder.

Save the current setup

1. Tap the Show line above the Record button to open the Show sheet.
2. Under Templates, tap Save this setup as a Template….
3. Type a name and tap Save.

Save a past Show as a Template

1. Tap Shows, then tap the Show.
2. Tap Save as Template…, type a name and tap Save.

This keeps that Show's channel names and venue, with today's Pre-roll and mixer.

Start a Show from a Template

Open the Show sheet and tap the Template. ShowRecorder ends the open Show, starts a new one and brings in the Template's channel names, Pre-roll and mixer.

A Template can't be used during a Take.

Make a Template the default

Tap the star next to a Template. The default Template readies the next Show when the app opens with no Show open. Tap the filled star again to stop using it as the default.

Rename or delete

Swipe a Template, or touch and hold it, for Rename, Delete and Make default.

After the Trial

On Free, your saved Templates are kept and still listed, but can't be used until you buy Pro. Nothing you saved is deleted.
